There are more than 100 years of history to discover

The Cape Dutch Manor House, set on a vineyard

Our stately manor house, constructed by a Portuguese entrepreneur in the early 20th century, later became known to locals as "Winzerruh" (Vintner's Rest). Since 2006, we've proudly cultivated Sauvignon grapes on the estate.

Strawberry Cottage

Nestled in a hidden corner of our vineyard lies a cozy cottage with a rich history. Until 1984, this quaint structure served as a horse stable. That year, the humble shelter was transformed into a private, independent house. Today, it offers guests a relaxing retreat with views of the valley.

Cornelia Sauvignon-Blanc

In collaboration with our winemaker friends, Peter and Cathy from Hout Bay Vineyards, we craft a limited edition Sauvignon Blanc from just 1500 vines each year.

The cool Atlantic breeze that blows through the Hout Bay valley brings out the elegant complexity of this popular grape variety. Our Sauvignon Blanc embodies the typical characteristics of the wine:

  • Aroma Profile: A bouquet of fresh-cut grass, crisp asparagus, and zesty green peppers, delicately balanced by hints of tropical fruit.
  • Palate: Fresh and lively, with invigorating juiciness and subtle minerality that refreshes with every sip.
  • Pairing Suggestions: An ideal companion to light summer salads, freshly caught fish, and delicate white meats.

This carefully crafted wine reflects our vineyard and the artisanal expertise of our winemakers.
